SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A Savannah woman was charged in connection with a fight that happened Monday night.
Savannah-Chatham Metro Police said Brittia Alaina Dilbert, 18, used her car to hit another woman and sideswiped the vehicle of another woman she had been fighting with.
Dilbert surrended to police after they had been searching for her, according to SCMPD. The fight and collision that happened at 6:20 p.m. Monday on McKenzie Place in west Savannah. She was charged with four counts of aggravated assault.
Police said that Dilbert had accused an 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old woman of damaging her car earlier in the day on a college campus. Dilbert found the two women on McKenzie Place and a fight began in the street between as many as five women, according to SCMPD.
After the fight, Dilbert turned her 1998 BMW around and drove toward three of the women and a 5-year-old child, hitting Jamilla Mitchell, 18, and then sideswiping a 2008 Mitsubishi belonging to April Smith, 31, according to police.
Mitchell was taken to a hospital for treatment.
