ECSO: Man blames 'spice' for unzipped pants incidents

EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC) - A Richmond Hill man claiming he was high on spice faces several charges in connection with soliciting sex.

Anthony Norton, 22, went into the Chevron gas station on Ga. 21 at Goshen Road in Effingham County, approached three females and demanded they perform sexual acts on him, according to the Effingham County Sheriff's Office.

Norton unzipped his pants on two different occasions, walked outside and got into another victim's vehicle with her 11 year old daughter, according to the sheriff's office. The woman and her daughter escaped before bystanders subdued Norton.

Deputies arrived, arrested and charged Norton with three counts of solicitation of sodomy, two counts of cruelty to children, simple assault and criminal trespass.

Norton is in the Effingham County Jail being held on a $16,150 bond.
