SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Memorial University Medical Center's smallest patients may be seeing some upgrades.
The 100 Organization donated $200,000 to the children's hospital at Memorial Health on Friday. The hospital will use the money for new neonatal stabilization, which is dedicated to newborns who need immediate emergency care before they're ready for the neonatal intensive care unit.
"We deliver premature babies probably on a daily basis, so these machines will actually be used every single day - probably every day of every year," said Dr. Brad Buckler, them medical director of the Neonatal Transport Team.
