Bra display to support breast cancer awareness

HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC) -

Bras will be hanging in the administration building of the Savannah Technical College Liberty Campus through mid-October as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

New and clean used bras are being collected at all Savannah Technical College campuses through Oct. 21. The bras will be given to O.C. Welch Ford Lincoln, who has promised to donate $1 per bra to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, according to the college.

To donate, drop off bras at any campus location: Savannah, 5717 White Bluff Rd. and 190 Crossroads Parkway; in Effingham Hwy. 21 in Rincon; at the Ft. Stewart Army Education Center and at the Liberty Campus on Airport Road in Hinesville.

    The two passengers of the white sedan, an adult male and a small child, were airlifted to a trauma hospital in Savannah. Officials on scene confirmed that the child was not restrained in a car seat, and was not wearing a seatbelt.
