SCAD reopens Ex Libris bookstore

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Savannah College of Art and Design's Ex Libris Bookstore has reopened its doors offering expanded sections, new products and a larger restaurant area.

The bookstore, which is SCAD's official bookseller, contains an expanded line of SCAD products, student, alumni and faculty-designed gift and home décor items from Working class Studio.

Additionally, Jittery Joe's, the in-store café and coffee shop has moved to the back of the store to make room for an expanded kitchen space allowing for larger breakfast and lunch menu along with more space for dining.

A wide variety of art and office supplies, specialty papers and instructor kits can be found on the upper floors of the store, while text and trade books remain in the basement.

The redesigned space includes in the only authorized Apple campus store in the Coastal Georgia regions offering a range Apple produces including iMacs, MacBooks, software and accessories. The Apple store also provides diagnostic services to Apple owners and repair for Apple produces. Additionally, Ex Libris'

Ex Libris is open to both the SCAD community and the public. The store is located at 228 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and is open from Monday – Thursday from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Friday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. For more information about Ex Libris call 912.525.7550.
