BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) - Like shrimp? Many people are eating all they can at the 17th Annual Beaufort Shrimp Festival.
More than a dozen restaurants served up fresh, local shrimp cooked many different ways from fried to blackened.
Children also got in on the festivities by heading and peeling shrimp.
It's a festival many look forward to every year, including our very own Jaime Dailey who was the emcee of this year's event.
Also on Saturday, the Sea Island Rotary Club dropped five-thousand rubber shrimp into the Beaufort River.
It's part of their annual adopt a shrimp fundraiser. The proceeds benefit local charities.
