Newt Gingrich to visit Bluffton

BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -

Former U.S. House speaker and Georgia native Newt Gingrich will be in the Bluffton area on Wednesday to answer questions about his take on the issues. 

He'll speak to Sun City residents at Magnolia Hall and then he and his wife will head on over to Hilton Head for a public screening of his documentary a City Upon a Hill.

That event starts at 7 p.m. at the Coligny Theater. Attendees will have a chance to talk with Gingrich after the show. The cost is $2.

    The two passengers of the white sedan, an adult male and a small child, were airlifted to a trauma hospital in Savannah. Officials on scene confirmed that the child was not restrained in a car seat, and was not wearing a seatbelt.
