SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - For months, WTOC has been covering the proposals to change Price St. in downtown Savannah.
The street will now be narrowed down to one lane for driving and one lane for bicycles, adding about 60 new parking spaces in the process.
"This goes through 6 different neighborhoods and all have had a chance to weigh in the last year on what they would like to see, so this is the culmination of all of that," said Sean Brandon, City of Savannah.
The street change will start soon and is set to be finished by the end of the year. It should cost between $30,000 and $40,000.
