Pooler Mayor helps to raise money for Light the Night

Pooler Mayor Mike Lamb and others helped raise money for the Light the Night Campaign on Oct. 6 by filling some orders at a Chick-Fil-A.

The Light the Night Campaign helps in the fight against blood cancers.

"One in every four minutes in the United States, someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer. We really are trying very hard to raise money for research to hopefully find a cure for blood cancer," said Jenny Gentry, Light the Night Corporate Chairman.

WTOC's Sonny Dixon was there to help hand out the Chick-Fil-A treats. Light the night will take place Oct. 14 in Forsyth Park.
