SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A motorcyclist appears to have escaped serious injury after slamming into a concrete barrier on the Forest River Bridge.
Authorities say the man was headed down Highway 204 away from Savannah. At about 1:30 a.m. he somehow lost control just pass Rio Road and hit a concrete wall that divides the northbound and southbound lanes.
The man went over the wall and his motorcycle landed on the other side of the road. He was transported by ambulance, but emergency crews say his injuries are not serious.
