Meth lab busted in Liberty County

LIBERTY CO., GA (WTOC) - Several grams of methamphetamine were seized during a search Friday morning of a mobile home by the Multi Agency Crack Enforcement team and the GBI.

A home in the in the 5200 block of West 196 in Gum Branch was searched at about 9 a.m. Friday. It comes after a month-long investigation.

One woman is in custody. No charges have been filed against her yet. There were six children ranging from 2 to 11 years old in the house when the search warrant was executed. The children were checked by EMS and released.

Police are trying to find David Gilbert. They want to charge him with manufacturing and selling meth and cruelty to children.
