'A Knight to Remember Prom' benefits America's Second Harvest

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Angelora Salon is offering Savannah another chance to go prom while helping out a local charity.

Benefitting America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, the salon will host A Knight to Remember Prom on Friday, Oct. 21 beginning at 7 p.m. in the Savannah Marriot Riverfront Ballroom.

Complete with dancing hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar, the event will also crown a prom king and prom queen.

Candidates for prom king include Floyd Adams, Tom Bordeaux, Ellis Cook, James Dewberry, Jeff Felser, Bill Gillespie, John Hall, Ruel Joyner, and Clinton Young. Candidates for prom queen include Laura Angell, Lee Ann Holcombe, Edna Jackson, Carol Kirchner, Mary Ellen Sprague and Sara Jane Strickland.

To vote for king or queen visit http://www.angelorasalon.com/charity. Voting will continue at the event allowing candidates the chance to gather more votes. Each vote cast costs $2 and supports America's Second Harvest.

Tickets for a S Knight to Remember Prom are available in advance for $30 at www.angelorasalon.com or at the door.
