GSU hosts texting and driving program

STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) - The Arrive Alive Tour from UNITE is educating students at Georgia Southern University about the dangers of texting while driving and drunken driving.

The program involves simulator, impact video, and a number of other resources to educate students about the dangers of texting while driving.

The simulator enables students experience the possible consequences of distracted or drunken driving.

Drivers under 20 years old have the highest proportion of distraction-related fatal crashes, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
