HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (WTOC) - South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley continues her tour of the Lowcountry on Wednesday with a final stop on Hilton Head Island.
Earlier Wednesday morning, Haley attended the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce's 16th annual state of the region breakfast.
On Tuesday, the governor talked to residents at a town hall meeting at Bluffton High School. Jobs and finances were hot topics for everyone.
"When you look at what we're doing, we're not just trying to bring jobs - we're trying to bring one good paying jobs - long-lasting jobs, where there are contractors that can work on these projects with them, but also going to the areas that need it," Haley said.
