Health Sciences Students gear up for Light the Night

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Light the Night is less than two days away and Armstrong Atlantic Health Sciences students are in the final push to raise as much money as they can.

Armstrong students hope to raise nearly $20,000 and all the money will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

"Our department is really proud of the students that have stepped up. We have some students that have really taken a lead and run with the fundraising," Tracy Middleton with Armstrong Atlantic said.

The Light the Night Walk will be on Friday at 7:30pm at Forsyth Park.
