Self defense or murder? One man killed and the shooter says he had no choice but to pull the trigger. The judge is not buying it, keeping the man behind bars. Brain Entin has the story.

A fire has left five Savannah residents out of their home. Savannah Fire and Emergency Services firefighters were sent at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday to 1925 Quincy St. when residents saw smoke billowing a neighbor's home.

Ruel Joyner is still fighting to keep his name on the ballot. Judge Penny Haaf-Freeseman will hold another hearing on Oct. 17 to finally determine Joyner's residency.

Chatham Area Transit is teaming up with the Tigers from Savannah State University for a new shuttle service that will begin Oct. 14.
