Man dies, another injured in overnight shooting

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Savannah-Chatham Metro Police are looking for a man who shot two men early Friday morning.

Police were called at about 12:30 a.m. Friday to West Broad Court in Frazier Homes off of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Officers found Timothy Bostic, 19, of the 1000 block of West Broad Court shot. He told police that a man he referred to as his brother also had been shot in a boarded-up apartment of Frazier Homes.

Downtown Precinct patrol officers then found a 20-year-old man in one of the apartments with a gunshot wound.

They were taken to Memorial University Medical Center. Bostic was rushed into surgery and the other man was declared dead. His name is being withheld pending family notification.

Bostic told police that he and the other man shot were in a transaction with a young black male who then shot, robbed them and ran, according to police.

Bostic ran to an occupied area of the housing complex, where he collapsed.
