RICHMOND HILL, GA (WTOC) - Folks around here will tell you it's good living on the coast.
Just one of the many perks is great seafood! Thousands packed J.F. Gregory Park in Richmond Hill this weekend for the 13th annual Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival.
They had live music, rides, arts and crafts, but the highlight was of course the seafood. Proceeds from the festival go to the Richmond Hill Bryan County Chamber of Commerce.
Seafood Festival Co-Chair, Mike Sisco says, "it's a community run organization, it is all volunteers from the committee down to the people who work. It's just a highlight of the city of Richmond Hill and the hamber."
The festival is held the third weekend in October each year.
