Savannah-Chatham schools and the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum are teaming up to help students build character.
Fifth-graders at Bloomingdale Elementary got a lesson Monday on respect and responsibility through music and demonstrations. It's all part of National Character Counts Week. The goal is to promote character building and have a positive impact on student's lives.
"Not only does it teach them responsibility and fairness but also incorporates music as part of it as well. So, it's fun for them and they can play instruments," said music teacher Janet Wootn.
Activities run through Saturday.
