FBI and Savannah-Chatham Metro are looking for a man who robbed a Wells Fargo on Tuesday and may have robbed at least one other bank.

Just after 12 p.m., a black male walked into the Wells Fargo branch in McAlprin Square Shopping Center at 1900 East Victory Drive and handed a teller a note claiming to have a gun and demanding money. He then ran north on Wallin Street and east on East 40th Street.

He was described as about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a slim build. He was wearing a navy baseball hat with a Direct TV logo, a royal blue shirt with an emblem on it, black jeans and sneakers.

He appeared to have short hair under his cap and some facial hair, according to police. He may have red stain on him after a dye pack that was the bank's money bag detonated in the parking lot.

Law enforcement officials are investigating whether the man may be responsible for at least one other bank robbery in the area this year.
