SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Savannah Chatham County Public School System is honoring 20 years of service for the Kiss-A-Pig Campaign. Over a $1 million has been raised by local schools to fund research to put an end to diabetes.
"I can't say enough about the school systems dedication to this campaign. Not only in raising money, but in educating our children and our staff about diabetes. That's been one of our major missions and we are the survivors," Sheila Woo, SCCPSS Kiss-A-Pig Campaign co-chair.
They are already puckering up for year 21. Kiss-A-Pig kicks off March 3.
