SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Chef's Table Dinner for America's Second Harvest took place on Oct. 18. The event was all about enjoying a gourmet meal and helping to feed the needy.
The four course dinner, prepared by Savannah's finest chefs, is the leading fundraiser for hungry children in Savannah. All of the money went to the Kids Café program, which provides meals for underprivileged kids at 43 locations in Savannah.
"It's been a lot of fun. We have already raised more than enough to feed 72,000 children a meal. It has been an unbelievable evening," said Mary Jane Crouch, America's Second Harvest.
