Woman turns herself in after intentionally ramming another car

BULLOCH CO., GA (WTOC) -

Deputies and Troopers of the Ga. State Patrol were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on SR 46 near Harville Rd. at 10:30 p.m. Oct. 6.

Police determined that the vehicle driven by Shanika Denise Childers, 29, was intentionally rammed into a second vehicle that was occupied by Chiders' ex-boyfriend and another female.

Police say that following the collision, Childers exited her car and struck her ex-boyfriend several times with her hands. Childers left the scene before police arrived.

A warrant was issued for aggravated assault and deputies have attempted to locate Childers for several days to serve the warrant and arrest her.

Childers turned herself in to the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office on Oct. 18. She was booked on a single count of aggravated assault and is currently being held without bond at the Bulloch County Jail.

Anyone with information on this case may contact Deputy Bob Dinello at 912.764.8888.
