Night Stalkers celebrate annual auction

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Night Stalkers of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Unit spend most of their time in foreign lands supporting just about every branch of the military. On Oct. 20, they took some time out to have a little fun at their annual auction. The event, held at Kevin Barry's, helps support family members for the covert group. The event also gives the usually secret organization some face time in the community.

"Well, tonight we're basically getting out, celebrating as an organization the founding of the unit, 30 years, and sharing it with the people of Savannah. We are going to go out tomorrow, play golf, and enjoy a day of getting out, brotherhood, and spending time with one another," said LTC Bill Golden, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment.

WTOC's Sonny Dixon, an honorary Night Stalker himself, served as an auctioneer for the event.
