Jeff Davis High School goes pink for final home football game

JEFF DAVIS CO., GA (WTOC) - Jeff Davis High School will be celebrating their last home football game Oct. 21.

The Yellow Jackets will be going pink for the final home game. They have painted pink ribbons at each corner of the 25 yard lines. The players will be wearing pink wristbands, the cheerleaders will be wearing pink hair bows, the drama club will have pink hair, and the fans will be wearing "Pink Out" t shirts. The game starts at 7 p.m. on Jeff Davis field.

The cheerleaders have already raised more than $2,000 for breast cancer research and awareness by selling gumballs, pink honor ribbons, and "Pink Out" t shirts.
