Gingerbread House Competition

They may look nice, but you can bet they taste even better. It was a gingerbread house competition today at Savannah's Bread & Butter Cafe, with students facing off from America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia's culinary arts program.

Students are spending 18 weeks in the program, and the judges consisted of patrons of the cafe. "All five of these creations, they made from scratch," said founding chef Mike Wilson. "Nothing is premade. They made the gingerbread, and decorated each one of them."

This is the second year they've had the gingerbread house contest. America's Second Harvest provides food for hungry people in and around Savannah.
