SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Halloween is not just about trick or treating for some folks. The YMCA in Savannah put on a free family fun event called trunk or treat on Oct. 21. There were people there to collect canned good items for the Loaves and Fishes food pantry. There were also over 200 trunks filled with treats, pumpkins to decorate, games and snacks.
"It's great I have a blast just seeing their little smiling faces all set up to enjoy it. It's a great atmosphere. Everybody is having lots of fun and that is what it's all about, fun, family and friends," said Sarah Hansen, Board of Directors.
Trick or treating is only a little over a week away.
