The usual half time show takes center stage

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The usual half time show took center stage at Memorial Stadium Sunday afternoon at the 12th annual "Jamboree of Bands" highlighting local marching bands, including Savannah High, Beach, Jenkins, and Johnson High Schools. As well as several area colleges.

Hundreds turned out to watch.

Band director, Marvin Johnson says, "we just don't hold instruments, and we just don't march up and down the field, there's musicality going on, there's precision going on and there's dedication to programs going on."

Among the performers, Florida A&M University's "Marching 100" who have also played at the Grammy's, Superbowls, as well as presidential inaugural parades.
