Guyton teen charged with fatal crash

EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC) - An Effingham County teen faces several charges in connection with a fatal crash that happened in April.

Investigators said Wade Hall was driving on Midland Road in Effingham County when he crossed the center line and slammed into Rebecca Hart's car. Joshua Stafford, 18, was killed in the crash. Hart and her three children were hurt.

Wade Hall, 18, of Guyton, has been charged with felony vehicular homicide, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, following too close, driving under the influence, and three counts of serious injury by vehicle.

Hall was taken into custody Monday at the Effingham County Sheriff's Office. His bond has been set at $27,000.
