SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Members of the H2O Ride are on a mission to bring clean water to people around the world. They are biking across the country to raise money and awareness. Oct. 24 is day 127 of the ride, which started in Austin, Tx. These riders can already tell that they are making a difference.
"This youth group in Albuquerque gave up their sodas for a week and donated that money. This town in North Dakota had just been hit with by a flood, they understood what it was like to be without clean water and they donated a lot of money. It's bringing people all across the country together focusing on one cause," said Jillian Farris,
They stopped in Savannah to take a break from riding Oct. 24 but they are hitting the road again bright and early Oct. 25. To donate or follow the group on their trek across America, visit http://h2oride.org/.
