SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Officials from the city of Savannah will go over the logistics and answer questions about the Nov. 5 Rock 'n' Roll Marathon.
It will take place 11:30 a.m. Monday in Johnson Square.
Officials from the city of Savannah, Savannah-Chatham Metro Police, Visit Savannah, and Chatham Area Transit will be participating in the news conference.
While on-street spaces and garage parking will be extremely limited in Downtown Savannah on Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Day, the city and county do have parking options, and will have several special openings and hours to increase parking capacity.
A flat $10 per day parking fee will be implemented in all garages to expedite the entrance and exit process from Thursday through Sunday. Take a ticket on the way into the garage, and pay upon exiting. Cash, MasterCard or Visa will be accepted.
Your best bet for parking is the Liberty Street Garage, located at Liberty and Montgomery streets. Access is easy, just off I-16 Montgomery Street exit.
