SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Area stores making hospitals a not so scary place this Halloween season
Spirit Halloween stores in Savannah, and across the country, raising money to help children feel more comfortable while in the hospital.
The two Savannah stores have raised more than $2700.
All the money raised will go directly to the Children's Hospital at Memorial.
"Children that are hospitalized this time of year don't really get to experience Halloween like you know most kids do. So, we just wanted to make it more fun and creative for them as they're staying in their hospitals," said Sabrina Pope
To date, the charity has raised 4.6 million dollars for more than 100 children's hospitals in the United States and Canada.
