SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Savannah Technical College dedicated its Student Enrichment Center and Adult Education program on Sunday.

The new 19,400-square-foot building houses the college's adult education programs.

It has 12 classrooms, four computer labs and the Learning Enrichment Center, which has nine study rooms. The Learning Enrichment Center also provides free college prep study skills workshops.

The Adult Education program provides basic skills instruction, English as a Second Language instruction, and GED preparation and testing.

Funding for the $3.5 million building included private gifts from a campaign by the STC Foundation. Campaign donors were honored at the dedication ceremony.

The Learning Enrichment Center was named in honor of philanthropists Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson. A suite of classrooms was named in honor of Dr. Bertice Berry.
