Little Red Dog Foundation gives away cycles

BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) -

Riding a bike is something kids of all ages enjoy.

Now two lowcountry twins are getting a chance to peddle a bike just like any other kid. The Little Red Dog Foundation gave Khloe and Karissa Thornton new cycles specially equipped to meet their needs, thanks to donations from the BILO Grocery Store in Beaufort. Physical therapists says the cycles will help the two year olds reinforce what they're learning in therapy, while helping to strengthen their muscles and build endurance.

"It just wins your heart when you look into the eyes of these kids," said Bill Bradshaw, BILO Manager. "It's something I wanted to do for these two children and we feel good about it."

The Little Red Dog Foundation gives cycles to children and adults with special needs. To learn more about how you can help the cause, visit www.littlereddogfoundation.org.
