One of North America's largest truckload carriers is coming to Georgia. Schneider National Carriers is hoping to hire 400 new truck drivers statewide to service businesses throughout the Southeast. The carrier service will open its new operating center in February in Dekalb County near Atlanta. No experience is necessary.
"They will have to pay for their own Georgia CDL license," said Donna Yonish of Schneider National, "but we provide the training for them so they get to the point where they can pass that skills test and once they complete the training and get a CDL, at that point, they do have a job waiting for them."
