BACON CO., GA (WTOC) -

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday on a body found in Bacon County.

The body of a man was discovered Wednesday afternoon in a wooded area off of Starling Road near Alma in Bacon County.

Bacon County sheriff's deputies called in the Georgia Bureau of Investigations and are looking into whether foul play is involved.

Deputies said they are still trying to determine the identity, but they suspect it may be a man that went missing a few weeks ago from the same area.
