SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Forsyth Pak is set to host the Savannah Children's Book Festival on Nov. 19. Children will be able to celebrate the joy of reading by meeting authors and storytellers like Fiona Page. Page stopped by Mid-Morning Live Nov. 18 to talk about her first children's book, Bettina the Bold. It is a story of how a blind butterfly discovers how to make friends. Page lost her eyesight in the 1980's. She will share her motivational message at the festival along with authors and illustrators from around the country.

The festival is presented by Live Oak Public Libraries and the City of Savannah. The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 19. There will also be arts and crafts, food, and entertainment.
