Local search team helps look for missing Orlando mother

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (WTOC) -

It's the night before Thanksgiving and Dan Fuller and his search dog Bubba are hitting the road.

"If it was my daughter out there I would want people to give up their holiday. I'm going to miss out on turkey dinner but that's about it," Fuller said.

Fuller is with Urban Search and Rescue K-9 and will be searching for 33 year old Michelle Parker.

Parker went missing in Orlando after appearing on the show "The People's Court" Thursday.

She was seen battling it out with her ex fiance...but police say he is not a suspect.

Police say they have no hard leads or suspects...and Parker's mother is hopeful her daughter is alive.

"I know for a fact right now she is not dead. I know that. She is alive. She is somewhere scared. Somebody has her," Parker's mother Yvonne Stewart said.

Fuller has been searching for over forty years. He says whether it's a holiday or not, if someone is missing...he wants to be searching.

"It would drive me nuts if I was sitting at a dinner table thinking about what this family is dealing with down there," Fuller said.

He says a K9 team can search an area much more quickly than humans. He's not sure when they will return to Hilton Head Island.
