Bluffton Pizza Hut robbed

BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) - Workers at a Bluffton Pizza Hut were robbed at gunpoint on Monday night.

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office deputies responded at about 9:45 p.m. Monday to the Pizza Hut at 50 Burnt Church Rd. on a report of an armed robbery. Three store employees told deputies they were robbed by a black male.

The suspect went up to the manager and demanded money from the cash registers. He then demanded the workers empty their pockets. He left the Pizza hut with an undisclosed amount of cash.

There were no injuries.

The suspect was described as a black male who is 24 to 27 years old. He's about 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 220 lbs. He was wearing a gray and red hoodie and jeans.
