2 men dead, 1 critically injured in Brewer Street shooting

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Violent Crimes detectives with Savannah-Chatham Metro Police continue to investigate a shooting that left two men dead and another injured Wednesday night in West Savannah.

It happened at about 8:23 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of Brewer Street in the Simon F. Frazier Homes. The shooting resulted after a confrontation between two groups of men, according to SCMPD.

Downtown Precinct officers found Michael Kimble, 41, fatally shot. Steven Smith, 20, was in critical condition, but died on the way to Memorial Hospital, according to police. Robert Antwan Frazier, 25, is in critical condition at Memorial, where he underwent emergency surgery.

They continue to ask that anyone in the area who may have seen anything that could aid the investigation contact police or Crimestoppers.
