Fire destroys Riceboro mobile home

RICEBORO, GA (WTOC) - American Red Cross volunteers with the Liberty and Long Disaster Action Team are assisting a person whose mobile home was destroyed by an overnight fire.

Volunteers responded at about 12 a.m. to a second residential fire 327 C Anderson Dr. in Riceboro to provide emergency financial assistance, lodging, food and clothing.

The Red Cross has responded to almost one fire per day within the 23 counties it serves, according to the organization. It is also in need of volunteers in many different capacities and financial donations.
