SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Friday is the final day of the Georgia-Florida blood drive. Donors have until 7 p.m. Friday to donate blood and score points for their team.
The Savannah University of Georgia Alumni Association and the Savannah Gator Club are scoring points as people donate blood for their team as part of the sixth annual Georgia-Florida blood drive.
So far, Georgia has won every year, but the Gators give them a good run. Both teams are aiming to collect 100 pints. The American Red Cross donors say it only takes about 10 minutes to donate blood.
Those interested in donating blood to score points for Georgia or Florida, stop by the American Red Cross Savannah Donor Center on Tibet Avenue at Abercorn Street.
