EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

Robin Heidt, who was wanted in connection with custody issues, is in Effingham County Sheriff's Office custody.

She turned herself in to the sheriff's office at about 5 p.m. She is being held in the Effingham County Jail.

Authorities said Robin Heidt wrote a $3,000 check to county court, and it bounced. A warrant was issued Friday by the Effingham County Sheriff's Office for her arrest.

Robin Heidt testified last year that she had an affair with her brother-in-law Craig Heidt. Craig was convicted in the 2008 fatal shootings of his father Phillip and brother, and Robin Heidt's husband, Carey Heidt. He was also sentenced for shooting his mother, Linda, in the face.
