Visitation set for Statesboro firefighter

STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) - The visitation for a firefighter with the Statesboro Fire Department who died is Thursday night.

Fire Inspector James Adam Mock, 27, lost his life to a sudden and unexpected illness. Mock had been with the fire department since 2005. He had earned several departmental commendations including the 2011 medal of achievement.

The visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Family Resource Center in Sylvania, next to the First Baptist Church.

The funeral is at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Sylvania.
