    The two passengers of the white sedan, an adult male and a small child, were airlifted to a trauma hospital in Savannah. Officials on scene confirmed that the child was not restrained in a car seat, and was not wearing a seatbelt.

    The City of Savannah has received the results of the survey regarding the Confederate Memorial standing in Forsyth Park. Citizens were able to comment on the city council's decision to potentially re-purpose the monument, a decision that came shortly after one woman was killed in protests surrounding a statue of Robert E. Lee in Charlottesville.

CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

Heavy holiday traffic was tied up for miles on Friday afternoon.

A fender-bender on Interstate 95 at the Georgia-South Carolina border caused traffic to back up for nearly 20 miles in both directions.

There were no serious injuries.
