A great way to take home memories from Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge and the Okefenokee Wilderness Area is photography.
Join John Reed at his Winter Nature Photography Workshop Jan. 14 from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Jan. 15 from 7 a.m. – 11 a.m. to receive pleasing camera results.
Classroom lectures and three photo shoots over the two days will be included in the workshop.
He will educate attendees on the fundamentals of exposure, white balance, digital camera controls, metering and other techniques.
All activities take place inside the east entrance located seven miles southwest of Folkston, G.a., off Okefenokee Parkway South.
If the registration fee is received on or before Jan. 3 the workshop will cost $45. If it's received between Jan. 4 and Jan. 12 the workshop will cost $50. Any time after the workshop will cost $55.
