Reward Increased in Church's Murder

The Church's Fried Chicken chain has announced that it has raised the reward to find those responsible for the shooting death of one of its managers. Early on the morning of February 7, police say Sean Abraham and another man were leaving the Church's at Bay and Carolan when two men forced them back inside to rob them. The 25-year-old Abraham was separated from his partner and later found shot to death a short distance from the restaurant.

Yesterday, representatives of the Atlanta-based company held a news conference in Savannah, announcing it had added $10,000 to the $2,500 CrimeStoppers reward, raising the total to $12,500. It is the second-largest reward offered in Savannah within the last five years.

Anyone who believes they can help in the investigation can contact CrimeStoppers anonymously at 234-2020.
