Dean Drops Out

Some big news in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination. Howard Dean pulled out of the race today after losing to Sen. John Kerry in the Wisconsin primary last night. Dean ended up in a disappointing third place.

He says he will not be endorsing Kerry or Edwards, but will support whoever ends up winning the nomination. "The bottom line is that we must beat George W. Bush in November whatever it takes," the one-time frontrunner said.

The next primary is February 24, when voters in Utah, Idaho and Hawaii head to the polls.
