A man charged after 19 dogs were found abandoned in his home was sentenced on Wednesday morning. However, as WTOC reported Tuesday, 10 felony counts were reduced to two misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty, causing frustration among Animal Control officers.More >>
GUYTON, GA (WTOC) -
Effingham County Sheriff's Deputies are still investigating a bad accident that happened at the intersections of Low Ground and Midland Roads, near Guyton.
Deputies say a twenty-five year old female was attempting to turn left onto Low Ground Road and turned into the path of a Dodge Dakota.
The man was trapped inside of his truck. First responders had to use the jaws of life to get him out.
Both drivers were seriously hurt and sent to Memorial, but deputies say their injuries don't appear to be life threatening.
