Two more arrested in Liberty Co. murder case

Two men have been charged with the death of a Midway man. Three people now have been charged in the case this week.

TJ Floyd, 19, was killed on Saturday when he and a friend went to Cook Road in Fleming to buy marijuana, according to the Liberty County Sheriff's Office.

The friend told investigators after they made the transaction, the seller and two other men robbed and stabbed Floyd.

On Sunday, deputies arrested Travon Walthour and charged him with murder.

Jonathan Robertson has been charged with murder and robbery. Damien Walthour has been charged with tampering with evidence.

A trust fund has been set up at Coastal Bank to help the family pay for funeral expenses.

The Floyd family will be holding a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gamble Funeral Home on Stephenson Avenue in Savannah.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lifespring Worship Center in Bloomingdale.
